We see garbage everywhere in the Philippines and it’s not weird that we also see people shamelessly throw trash, plastics and the like on the road. This kind of behavior is one of the reasons we are suffering from the stench of the sea. We are ruining the beauty of our country slowly and surely because of our actions. People who catch sight of strangers littering everywhere just shrugs it off and ignores it. That’s not to say that there are no people who try their best to clean it up but there is just not enough people to clean all of it. We know that there more people who litter than people who cleans their mess. Even worse, some of the people who litter complains to why it is incredibly dirty on one side of the road or the other even though it was their fault it was dirty in the first place.

This is why we need all of the people to scold any strangers they see who litters on the road. We need help from each Filipino to stop littering or else we might drown in our own mess whenever flood strikes a vulnerable area of the Philippines.

All of those trash could also be swimming around with the fishes who might consume them which is likely you will consume too after eating the fish which is just disgusting.

If we can solve this, we can enjoy the fresh air from the seas instead of the putrid stench. We won’t see those trash just lying down the road and we also won’t trouble ourselves cleaning up the mess of a flood after it subsides.

Help us stop people from littering everywhere immediately.
