Keep Queens Beach Dog Friendly
Keep Queens Beach Dog Friendly
The issue
Queens beach is a beautiful quiet oasis away from the busy Redcliffe foreshore.
Moreton Bay Regional Council is trailing an off leach area at the northern side of Queens beach to ALLOW dogs and their owners to enjoy the beach so dogs can run on the sand and swim.
A few locals who live very close or opposite the beach want to stop it so they can keep the beach to themselves.
This petition is to ask Council to :
Approve Queens Beach DOG FRIENDLY.
Add a dog drinking bowl to existing drinking fountains.
Dog bag dispenser.
And larger bins - for those dog owners like myself who collect plastic and other non biodegradable rubbish from the sand.
There are so many positives that come from councils forsight in allowing Queens Beach Dog Friendly. Other than the health benefits, it will enhance our community. Attract family visitors to Redcliffe and assist in keeping our beautiful beaches pollution free.
