We all know that the more urgently we act to mitigate the potential impacts of climate change, the greater the chance of our being able to limit global warming to that magic and elusive 1.5 degrees.
Moreton Bay Regional Council has recently advised that it is deferring the release of its environment and sustainability strategy until October in order to work more on its development.
While this is disappointing because we need action, like, yesterday, we appreciate how critical it is to get it right, and are taking advantage of the extra time to gather more signatures on our petition.
Please continue to share and encourage family, friends and colleagues to sign and do likewise.
It takes but a moment, costs nothing, isn't at all dangerous and just might do some good.
