#MoreThan4: Demand Increased Federal Funding for Childhood Cancer Research

#MoreThan4: Demand Increased Federal Funding for Childhood Cancer Research
The Issue
Childhood cancer is a crisis that touches thousands of families every year, yet it remains drastically underfunded. Although cancer is the leading cause of death by disease among children in the U.S., only 4% of federal cancer research funding goes to pediatric cancers. That’s nowhere near enough to fuel the breakthroughs our kids deserve.
It’s time for Senators and Representatives to step up. By increasing federal investments, we can give researchers the tools to develop lifesaving treatments and bring hope to children and families facing this devastating disease.
This September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, join Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s #MoreThan4 campaign. Together, we can demand lawmakers prioritize our children’s health and future by dedicating more than 4% to pediatric oncology.
