Okay, this update is possibly going to stir some hefty discussions.
Because not only is this next City Course for Mario Kart Tour teased...
Not onlt is this next City Course likely for Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe...
But some people assume that this next track will be our last city track in Mario Kart Tour & Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (along with Rome Avanti).
What could be the future for Mario Kart Tour, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, & the Mario Kart series as a whole? Well, that's gonna be one heck of a puzzler alright.
Back at the topic at hand, many assume that this next & possibly final City Course will take place in Madrid, Spain.
Wherever the City Course is, I'm sure favorite plumber brothers, Mario & Luigi, are enjoying a nice & well-cooked buffet, as shown in the above image.
If Madrid ends up being the case, and we get no more city courses beyond that, then Mario Kart Tour & Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will have...
3 tracks in North America - New York City, New York, USA; Los Angeles, California, USA; and Vancouver, Canada.
1 track in Australia - Sydney
3 tracks in Asia - Tokyo, Japan; Singapore; Bangkok, Thailand
And a whopping 7 tracks in Europe - Paris, France; London, England; Berlin, Germany; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Athens, Greece; Rome, Italy; and Madrid, Spain
Bringing a total of 14 Mario Kart courses taking place all over our planet Earth...
Well, almost all over Earth... More on tbat later...
But for now, in the end, the Mario Kart-related wish I really hope for more than anything else from this point onwards now is for the 1up Girl: Pauline to make it as one of the 2 racers via Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass.
As bizarre as it may sound, perhaps Pauline could fit in the row with the Koopalings, for all 7 Koopalings & Pauline are characters who've been absent from the Mario Franchise for long time until they have made a huge comeback in the franchise (the Koopalings with Mario & Luigi RPGs & New Super Mario Bros. Wii; & Pauline with Mario VS. Donkey Kong & Super Mario Odyssey).
And as for our unknown City Track... Well, you'll have to wait until the next update for a better understanding of the course, once the trailer for the course arrives this Friday - August 18th of 2023.
Now here's where we close things off with something I deem as bittersweet.
While it's gonna be cool to have a new citytrack in what could possibly be Madrid, Spain...
If Mario Kart Tour eventually comes to a point that it will be no longer receiving new content like new City Courses...
AND, if Mario Kart 8 Deluxe doesn't get anymore DLC beyond the Booster Course Pass once Wave 6 arrives...
It's gonna be a HUGE bummer & brake-slammer that both Mario Kart Tour AND Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will NOT have Mario Kart tracks taking place in these continsnts or well-known areas around the Earth...
- South America - Rio de Janeiro Brazil (especially due to Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games & the Brazilian Promotions / Special Events for Nintendo & Illumination's The Super Mario Bros. Movie).
- Africa
- Other areas - Antarctica; Arctic Circle; More US cities in other states; Caribbean Islands; Bahamas (ex: Nassau, etc.); Mexico (ex: Cancun, etc.); Etc.
- Etc.
But if Mario Kart Tour ever gets more content beyond what some people have assumed...
AND, if Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ever gets a 2nd Booster Course Pass (with a heavier emphasis on additional Characters, Vehicles, Wheels / Tires, Gliders, Power-Ups, modes, features, etc.)...
I do hope we indeed get more Mario Kart City Courses taking place in those aforementioned locations. I feel ALL 7 of Earth's continents around the world should have Mario Kart representation in the form of race courses, with each continent having at least 1 or more Mario Kart course for representation.
