Petition updateMore DLC Racers AND Vehicles for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.Even with changes to Tour, we STILL need to keep our hopes & desires for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe alive.

You all may have noticed that Mario Kart Tour has experienced big changes as of last month.

For one thing, the changes to Mario Kart Tour include the introduction of Battle Modes; but more importantly, the almost-complete removal of the dreaded Pipe Launch Gacha system in exchange for the Spotlight shop.

But even with those new changes, Mario Kart Tour is STILL not necessarily a generous game.

For one thing, even though the Gacha element is gone for the most part, you need to save up a lot of rubies and/or coins to purchase content from the Spotlight shop.  So just because more characters, vehicles, & other content will be available for you to collect doesn't mean it's going to be easy to do so.

And there are still Pipe Launches for certain elements, so the Gacha element, although mostly over with, still exists to a degree.

GameXplain's following video, "Gacha is GONE, But Mario Kart Tour Is Still Greedy | 3.0 Impressions", should help explain all the new details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-XsMH5V5MI

So even though Mario Kart Tour now has big changes, the desire for Tour's characters, vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content to be updated over to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sometime in the future still remains, & needs the word on it to be spread to everyone in any way we can...

...ESPECIALLY when there eventually comes a time when Mario Kart Tour eventually discontinues, hence why its content NEEDS to be preserved into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (in addition to balancing with 96 eventual tracks of course).

I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling that once the Booster Course Pass is done by the end of 2023, then so will Mario Kart Tour.

After all, if Dr. Mario World didn't last forever because of its dependency on an Internet Server (instead of being an offline game), then neither will Mario Kart Tour (which SHOULD have been an Offline Game in the first place).

So to keep it plain and simple, in spite of Mario Kart Tour's changes, we need to keep spreading the word & telling Nintendo that Mario Kart Tour's characters, vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content NEED to be preserved into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe because...

A.) Mario Kart Tour & Mario Kart 8 Deluxe basically share the same assets, voice clips, models, & other content despite Tour running on less powerful devices than the Nintendo Wii U, Switch, & other future consoles

B.) There will eventually come a time when Mario Kart Tour eventually discontinues, hence why its content needs to be preserved in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

And C.) Preserving Mario Kart Tour's characters, vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will not only give the latter game's content much better variety (especially how people are not to fond with how MK8DX's character roster is currently arranged), but it'll especially help to balance with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's eventual 96 tracks (48 Base Game Tracks + 48 Booster Course Pass Tracks)

And as an extra, now that Tour has a battle mode, maybe adding some of Tour's Battle Mode tracks featured in Tour like GCN Cookie Land & so on with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's 8 Battle Tracks will definitely help balance with the 96 eventual tracks, too (especially since Mario Kart Wii has the most Battle Courses out of all  the Mario Kart games).

So let's keep spreading the word, have Nintendo hear us out, & keep on racing! :)
