The EMS Foundation and Ban Animal Trading South Africa have released Part 4 of the Extinction Business Reports.

The South African primates to which this harrowing report relates are: Chacma baboons, samango monkeys, vervet monkeys, thick-tailed bushbabies, southern lesser bushbabies and Mozambique dwarfs bushbabies. 

The authors have recommended a moratorium on the trade, hunting and killing of South Africa’s indigenous nonhuman primates and the suspension of breeding, Trading and keeping of exotic nonhuman primates until the South Africa wildlife trade can be re-evaluated.
