Email recieved from the planning department

I'm posting an Email I received today from Martin Mansell..he is an officer in the planning department.. i am naming this post HOPE..!! Now all we need to do is voice your opinion and objections..to the email address shown.. there are objections to the demolition but we all need to act fast now..! Here the email..x Good Luck everyone..xx Mrs Gallagher, Thank you for your email which I will place on file as an objection. In general, given the amount of applications that we deal with we are unable to enter into direct correspondence with objectors on a particular case. However, given the public interest in this case and the fact that you are representing a large group of people I am happy to try to answer your questions. Members of the public who wish to comment on the application should be directed to the Council's website where the application can be viewed by using the reference 97795/16 at www.bolton.gov.uk/planning . It is preferable for interested parties to comment via the website rather than email the case officer directly - this also means that they can monitor the progress of the application. As objections have been received already, the decision will be made by the Council's Planning Committee, not by the Council's Planning Officers - though Officers will need to make a recommendation to Members based on relevant national and local planning policies, any representations received and any other material considerations. As things stand, Officers have not started to form an opinion on a recommendation. I will be placing site notices near the building today - in practice this means that the consultation period will run for a further 21 days, until 9th December. It is likely that the application will be heard at the Planning Committee on 15th December though it is possible that circumstances dictate that it slips to 12th January. I trust that this provides sufficient information at this stage.
