Moonee Valley Cancel has managed to get through another council term without a commitment to a basketball stadium.

The Baskmuda Triangle policy of never building a stadium has been enacted for a 5th straight council term.

Some councillors spent Tuesday's night's council meeting explaining this as a 'positive' step forward. I think Judge Judy summed it up best with her comment "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining."

Despite this lack of leadership / desire / competence / will / guts / care for what the community want, we will find a way to get our stadium built. Even if this has to be in spite of the Moonee Valley CANCEL.

I ask the community to step up their fight.

A community event is coming to send the appropriate message to council and our other 'leaders' in Danny Pearson, Ben Carroll and Bill Shorten. Watch this space!!

P.S. I would like to urge everyone on here to not make judgement on the fact our Premier has just got more courts into Bendigo (her electorate). Despite Moonee Valley's needs being about 100 times greater, Ms Allan seems to have trumped our absent local members in getting facilities for her community.
