I would be able to respectfully disagree with the Council IF they had included an "affordable housing" requirement. (What that would look like I do not know, but SOMETHING that would stipulate the ADU MUST be rented out at "affordable" rates unless an immediate family member is using it.)
But since they CHOSE NOT TO require someone building an ADU to rent it out affordably -- which the council said was the rationale behind the entire thing -- I DO NOT HAVE ANY RESPECT with regard to how the County Council conducted themselves on this effort.
