Neighbors in East Forest Glen have less than 20 seconds to cross a 8-lane highway while navigating turning cars to the beltway. A 2nd entrance will not only help thousands of homeowners access the Forest Glen station but it will also help pedestrians get to Holy Cross Hospital. You can read more about this 2nd entrance HERE.

We have a UNIQUE opportunity because the Montgomery County Council will be voting to fund Montrose Parkway East in January 2018 BUT no one seems to need or want the $140 million 1.6 mile road that just adds more cars to the area and was originally planned in the 1960s. Even MoCo’s own planners have called the project overbuilt and underminding the area’s urban future. Not to mention that Forest Glen and Georgia Ave improvements would only cost a fraction!
