Make sure your voice is heard. He will most likely want to half-ass the wording, once again, and we cannot allow for this to happen. Currently the way the ordinance wording stands, the Decibel Detection needs to be removed and replaced with "Plainly Audible" for anytime of day solely because the decibel meters do not detect such loud bass that travels and officers currently are not doing anything at all prior to 9pm. NOTHING AT ALL!!! What does that mean for you? It means that if someone starts loud obnoxious music that you can hear a mile away or right next door to you, you will be forced to suffer through that noise in your home for up to 9-10 hours before officers will politely go out and ask for them to turn it down. They will not cite, whatsoever and they WILL NOT shut these events down even though they are in complete violation of a law. This dereliction of duty must be stopped. Someone needs to be held accountable and fix this problem.
