Shawangunk Journal Reports on Petition to Mohonk

Dear Supporters:

Naturists Petition Mohonk Preserve to Reverse Nudity Ban, was posted by Shawangunk Journal, today. 

The story states that "Mohonk Preserve Director of Marketing and Communications Gretchen Reed told the Shawangunk Journal that the inappropriate behavior reported involved 'sexual activity.'” 

I've received comments that blame "the gays and their cruising," which is unfair and seems like an easy excuse for the Preserve to use to enforce the nudity ban. 

Meanwhile, thank you to the over 1000 supporters. Please keep writing to the Preserve, and hopefully, they will be willing to work towards a solution that will bring back Split Rock as we have known and loved it.
