با وجود اعتراض‌های مکرر مردم ایران در خصوص شیوه‌ی عملکرد سفارت‌های اتحادیه اروپا که منجر به ظهور «واسطه‌های» وقت سفارت و روادیدشده و علی‌رغم بیانیه وزارت امورخارجه در این خصوص، شاهد تغییر چندانی در این روند نادرست نیستیم. با توجه به موضوع «حق سفر» به عنوان یکی از مصادیق حقوق بشر، و ناگزیر بودن بسیاری از ایرانیان به سفر خارج از کشور؛ به دلایلی ضروری‌ چون درمان، تحصیل، دیدار بستگان، تجارت و شرکت در رویدادهای فرهنگی، درخواست وزارت امورخارجه برای سفر نکردن به این کشورها راه‌حلی چندان منطقی‌ به نظر نمی‌رسد

اکتفا به صدور بیانیه از سوی وزارت امور خارجه ایران، بدون مشاهده عزم جدی در برخورد با شبه مافیای وقت سفارت‌های مختلف، به معنی پذیرش این واسطه‌گری‌ و تداوم شرایطی‌ست که در شان مردم ایران نیست. علاوه بر این، سفارت‌خانه‌ها نیز تنها با فرافکنی و اعتراف به ضعف مدیریت نوبت‌دهی، به‌جای حل معضل، به نوشتن اطلاعیه و تغییرات جزئی در روند بررسی خود بسنده می‌کنند.
و این سوال همچنان باقی‌ست که چرا با واسطه‌گران سرقت نوبت روادید که در خاک ایران مرتکب عملی غیرقانونی می‌شوند برخوردی قضایی صورت نمی‌گیرد و آنها همچنان به‌راحتی در حال باج‌گیری و فروش وقت سفارت‌ها به متقاضیان مستاصل روادید کشورهای اتحادیه اروپا هستند؟
امضاکنندگان این نامه خواستار اقدامی عملی و قاطع از سمت دستگاه دیپلماسی و قضایی کشور برای رفع واسطه‌گری در سفارت‌های اتحادیه اروپا و انگلیس هستند. از شما خواهش می‌کنیم مردم و رسانه‌ها را در جریان روند رسیدگی خود قرار دهید.

Despite the repeated protests of Iranians against the poor performance of European Union Embassies leading to the emergence of intermediaries of embassy appointments and visa affairs notwithstanding the Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this regard, no significant changes have been observed regarding this inappropriate process. According to "right to travel" as an example of human rights, and the inevitability of many Iranians to travel abroad for imperative reasons of health, education, visiting relatives, trade and participation in cultural events, the call of the Department of State to avoid traveling to these countries as a solution does not seem very sensible. Focusing on the statement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, in the absence of great determination in dealing with this process is tantamount to the acceptance of the mediation and continuation of the conditions that are beneath the dignity of Iranian people. To make matters worse, embassies merely resort to passing the buck to poor management of embassy queues and writing announcements and making minor changes in their review process instead of solving the problem.

   The question remains unanswered why the semi-mafia intermediaries of visa queues who are committing an illegal act are not subject to judicial punishment while they can easily take advantage of desperate applicants of Visa to European Union countries.

   The signatories of this letter request the diplomatic and judicial officials for decisive practical action to eliminate the intermediation concerning Visa appointment selling of European Union embassies. We are looking forward to your public announcements concerning the proceedings.
