Patience tank is EMPTY!

Another day, yet another fatal accident on Highway 61. #GETITDONE What is it going to take MODOT??? Friday morning, traveling southbound on Highway 61 @ Peine Road I was about 250 feet from a serious accident with my five children in our van. Luckily everyone was okay, but we are tired and worn out from the daily accidents and lack of attention this dangerous highway is receiving. MODOT - what is it going to take? Would 20 fatalities do it for you? What is the magic number? Ahhhh....its all a magic money number you say?? Give us a break. We are done putting our lives on the line for a simple daily commute because our life has a price on it. If you ask me, everyone's life is priceless - and so should be the price you pay to make this a safer road and stretch for all!
