In many northern new mexico small communities due to lack of souls gathering in these small beautiful churches, sometimes only the priest. I see this as a window for our own salvation to step up as hermanos hermanas en Christo from fraternal catholic orders, societies of faith and go forth and serve our people as once was when priests were forced away. The lack of outreach from our church leaderships in this and many other areas has proven a dilemma of our FAITH. The scourge of molestation from our priests in the 70's must not destroy our belief in GOD and religion. my opinion is that this terrible occurrence did have an impact on our current dilemma , in regard to much substance abuse , especially n the homes of the victims molested by priests. Our ancestors fought to provide and promote our  faith in GOD, I trully believe that this is a clear sign that we  must follow our ansestoral legacy of providing this services for the betterment , preservation and restoration of our spritual legacy. please my brethren , let's not ignore this window of opportunity that might only come twice in our lifetime, for this might be our prayers being answered to reignite community and village cohesive understanding through sprituality.
