Politicians are meeting in santa fe to gather stories to take to Washington , or so I here. Here is a story for you, I will loan you my home in the valley of tears for 1 week or 2 , so you won't need a story to take , you can live reality in the streets with me as your personal guide to hear, feel , see and smell the truth. To some or most from local governments their stories that they give out to media , state and federal gov are like a fairytale or a fiction novel from the land of the lost. Na, too many years and too much death that hiding the track marks that are so deep rooted and intrenched in the hearts and souls of those of us who have lost cannot be covered up anylonger. The world will see what type of leadership is representing us in Washington and locally , the results and stats speak for themmselves. with politicos in office term after term after term after term and things not only the same but worse. The one and only true king from above "knows all" " sees all" , so maybe securing your post in high office might not be as important as securing a clear contionous and a good standing with the almighty himself. " take that story to your leaders" , for they too , like all of us will answer for our actions or inaction . here is a non fiction story for you. While gathering signitures n feeding my peeps at Dominos two cars pull up and park not far away. They were bout 6 young adults ,Anglo . Courious they watched us , abour 5 talking n laughing n eating pizza. I go over and approach them for signitures in the petition, introduce n open diolog. They say" those people are so friendly waving at all that pass" , I say who " they say n point, them" oh i say. One says can we go ask a question or two for college paper, I yell to them and they wsve n say ok. I tell this young guy don't give them your money but a blessing will be great. He walks over while the others watch , well we watch and he pulls out his wallet and hands cash. The others shake their heads. he returns looking pale with a tear rolling fm his eye, they ask what happened. He says " as I walked closer too them i smelled a sick scent , and when I got there I saw why and what they were wave ing at, it was not the cars or us, they were wave ing off the flies that were on them on their open wounds, like diabetics and rot on their legs and and arms, most of them but they were so nice I have them all my money so they could go buy bandaids dressings and ointment" . They all signed and left in silence. Now thats a true story of the living, i can only sympatize for the families of our dead. Do the right thing, be honest caring and diligent in your post or step down, for this is not only for the few but for all. And if and when we get funding , keep a close eye where it goes and be transparent on all funding from now on in for our peeps in suits n otherwise are already smelling the green.
