Within the walls of facilities throughout our country we have national treasures , living , breathing and waiting most facing the entrance of their doors on their wheeled chairs or couch! My stop in these places filled with culture and heritage gives me inspiration and a recharge of who we were , are and will be. Many elders getting $500.00 a month to survive who only qualify for 29 dollars in assistance in food stamp or ebt. How do they do it, many selling their pain meds to pay elect bills or buy food choosing not by choice, to stay in pain. Many trying their luck in casino to double their income , a trap to another addiction! More Food Banks Needed by State or Feds! Children starving in addicted families, while some helping third world countries, ( I advise some faith groups who aid in other countries, I can take you to a home where they are in same conditions as Haiti or gatamala or handuras , women and young men selling themselves for 5 dollars). :(
