This is what it is all about , souls expressing their anguish and despair in regard to this horrible and deadly sickness. Many signing and asking , " don't we get funding into this area for the drug problem " all I can say is I'm sure we do, but how Much and where it is being used I really don't know. But I am honestly thinking it is not enough, for a few that are trying through non- profits are as well struggling to survive , and some get close to nothing. Maybe someday soon the city , county and state ,as well as federal government will publish this information for all to see and as well show the results , stats and progress of those who are receiving the funding. For I and all signing believe we have the right, as tax paying citizens to examine the result. Concerned citizens within the county might be able to help with fresh ideas and insight on strategies and solutions on dealing with this deadly problem. Many elderly and otherwise signing this petition by hand are crying when they sign . For many have lost all their bloodline within their family . Mothers and grandmothers have buried all their children and husbands due to OD suicide or homicide due to drugs. Some or many fearing the same result, for as time goes on and leaders stay idle with no progress in sight all we can do is pray and feed them day by day to keep them alive another day in hopes that a miracle will be bestowed upon our people. Even incarcerating them is not a safe place for there too they continue the same cycle. Parents have told me their son or daughter went in to jail hooked on pills to only come out hooked on heroin. " I just don't know anymore" . God Help Us! :(
