The NY Mets have been in NY since 1962, and we as Met fans have been upset lately because of the lack of caring by the ownership to get another World Series Ring . The Mets haven't won since 1986 which is over thirty-two years ago . The current owners, the Wipons have failed to fire the training staff, and because of that there have been a great number of players on the disabled list. In a report in "USA Today" Mets assistant GM John Ricco say that he praises the team training/strength staff. Met fan disagree with this statement because players like David Wright, Noah Syndergaard, Zack Wheeler, Jose Reyers ,Jeyers Familia , just to name a few who are on the dl. With all of these injured players, and the Mets not being in the play offs this has caused some of the businesses around Citifield to suffer . We must have a new ownership which takes pride in the team that they own. As quoted from Wikipedia, Wilpon was one of the investors who invested a significant amount of money with Bernard Madoff which was lost when the Ponzi scheme collapsed in December 2008. It was reported that Wilpon had "lost" about $700 million because of Madoff, which has led to speculation that he may be forced to sell the team. Since then Wilpon has said that his losses were "substantially less" than that figure. Reports later surfaced that Wilpon and his family actually made about $300 million with Madoff and had not lost money as previously reported. We cannot trust the Wilpons , they claim they are broke , and they are trading great players such as Jay Bruce among others. Does this look like a team that wants to win a World Series . Please fire the Mets Management and their training staff, so we can win this for the fans and the team.
