It's been four years since this petition caught fire after Bob Nutting tore the heart out of the Pirates. And with a new front office, nothing has changed. Haggling over a drop in the bucket for their best player in his first year of arbitration is a sign of the same. Bryan Reynolds deserves to get paid. This latest display just adds to the long list of reasons why Pittsburgh needs an owner that wants to win. That will pay what's necessary to compete in today's game.
