The Purdue Armory is a key location for the Purdue Army, Naval and Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. It is imbedded with history, tradition and value. If it were to be replaced by retail, classrooms or dining courts; it would be a disgrace to the lives of so many people who call it home. In my eyes, we have enough retail, classrooms and dining courts but keeping things that are unique to Purdue is what makes it special. Furthermore, the Armory supports many clubs around campus. Military alumni who have served our country return to the armory to enjoy the sentiments of Purdue's many military programs. The armory plays a pivotal role in Purdue's history and should remain for that reason alone.
