Today marks several milestones in our fight to stop "The Gardens" project.  We are 5,502 strong, and, if you read paragraph 2 of the city's April 11 Planning & Transportation Commission Meeting Notice, you will be greeted with this message:

City staff’s recommended action is to deny ValueRock’s zone change request for the proposed project at the corner of La Paz and Marguerite.  

This is great news, but it's not over yet. The commission needs to vote to adopt this recommendation and in a subsequent session the City Council must vote to approve it.

Please attend the Planning and Transportation Commission meeting at 6:30 pm on April 11th in City Hall’s Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.
