Merry Christmas to all Christians and Catholics in Miri. Finally, Miri Mayor, Adam Yii has announced that there will be a major upgrade for the parks under MCC care. It is very late given Visit Miri 2018 is just around the corner. We will continue pushing him for more details of the upgrade. Do share out the petition and get more signatures until he announces details and timeline of the upgrade. I have asked him these questions on Facebook which he has not replied: 1. Have you received an update on the conditions of the parks? 2. When will the budget for the upgrade be approved? 3. When will the tendering process begin? 4. When will the upgrade work begin? 5. Would Visit Miri 2018 be affected due to the upgrade work? Let us Mirians rally together and push the mayor to do his job fixing our parks and museums.
