Just now the Australian Dental Association has released the following statement; "I’m thrilled to announce that through our advocacy and relationship with Government we have been able to secure an allocation of masks to serve as emergency stock and keep dental practices running. I will join the Health Minister this afternoon to officially make the announcement. This means we all must all take measures to conserve masks until supply returns to full capacity, but it appears the immediate threats posed by the mask shortage may be averted. The ADA at all levels has worked around the clock to explore every option and prepare for every contingency. We’ve supported practices with information and advice, lobbied the Government and the Dental Board of Australia, and run a significant media campaign all while connecting members to remaining mask stock and searching the globe for additional masks.
