Fire Officer Greg Burstad and revoke his peace officer license

What would you do if you were suddenly and illegally locked out of your home and while a cop held the key, all of your possessions were stolen including photos and other irreplaceable heirlooms? What if you reported this felony theft to your local police and they refused to investigate?
This is exactly what happened to the Ramirez family after Brooklyn Park police officer Greg Burstad as part of the Metro Gang Strike Force raided their home in Crystal without a warrant (finding nothing illegal), assaulted the grandfather Norberto, then changed the locks on the home. After four days of being locked out of their home, Burstad promised to let them back in, but upon arrival they witnessed a truck being loaded and leaving with all their possessions. A few days later, Burstad had Norberto deported.
The family reported this crime to the Crystal police to no avail, with it later being revealed that the detective assigned to the case had been pressured not to investigate. Greg Burstad is currently on paid suspension after a demonstration outside of the Crystal City Hall brought public attention to the matter. This is not sufficient punishment for his actions. He has brutalized numerous residents of both Brooklyn Park and Crystal, primarily nonwhite minorities. He is racist, violent, and only serves his own interests, not those of the people he is meant to protect.
We demand the unequivocal termination of Greg Burstad and the revocation of his Minnesota peace officer license due to his history of brutality and unethical, unprofessional behavior.
