Thank you to everyone who signed this important petition to demand changes and to keep our most vulnerable population - our neurodivergent children and young adults - safe.
UPDATES
So far we have: 1,900 signatures, 9,232 petition views (with 20K more that were purchased by signers so that this can shared widely) and 1,251 petition shares. There's also been a meeting at the capitol with lawmakers, a measure inspired by this petition.
It's incredible what people power can do! Let's keep pushing till we get to our next goal: 2,000!
COMMUNITY EVENT - TODAY AT DAR AL-FAROOQ CENTER
Speaking of people power and community, we have a community event today (Friday, 11/1) for Mohammed Mohamed's family. We will gather from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Dar al-Farooq Center in Bloomington. Let's surround the family with love and support as a community! Flyer with address is attached above.

And tomorrow, Autism advocate Sheletta Brundidge will be giving out FREE interior combination locks in Eden Prairie. Please let anyone with small children, especially autistic children who elope, know about this. Here are the details:
