To improve the wellbeing of working horses and donkeys in Egypt

Having just returned from Egypt I was shocked to see that the working horses and donkeys are not properly fed and watered and as such look ill nourished. This is reflected in the apparent condition including seeing their ribs protrude and general condition of their coat covered in dirt and mud whilst moving tourists around. The area found to be the worst for was Edfu near the Nile river. It is clear that the locals do not respect their animals as they should and the tourist minister could put pressure on dealing with this issue.
