The DCNZ has decided to release "provisional" L2 guidelines for practitioners to give feedback on, and to aid them to prepare for the coming weeks.
This is a fantastic result, however this is just the beginning.
The DCNZ made contact with me today and the tone and structure of the communication was aggressive, highly unprofessional, and inaccurate..
The DCNZ maintain this is the fault of the Ministry of Health and have deferred to them rather than respond in full to any allegations.
The DCNZ are still refusing to accept any accountability for any recent events, nor are they apologetic or particularly sympathetic towards the situation many dentists are in.
This further proves the point that the DCNZ framework and structure needs further scrutiny and transparency.
The DCNZ have also failed to address any issues raised that were present prior to the Covid 19 pandemic.
