"New Zealand has the second worst youth (25 and under) suicide rate in the developed world and the worst teen (15-19) suicide rate. The annual rates have remained largely unchanged for around two decades".

This petition is to help put pressure on government to increase funding for Teenage Mental Health. This money needs to go towards more bedding in hospitals and more counsillors in schools.

Currently some school councillors are responsible for 1000 pupils. This is no where near enough support and help students faced with Mental Health deserve and need.

If you believe in this Social Action please show your support by signing this petition to help put pressure on government to increase funding for Teenage Mental Health.
