Hi everyone.
I had made a donation to the petition and was very amazed that the cause is actually having a positive affect! It had jumped from 59 to 88!!! A jump to almost 30!! This is showing further proof that this petition is needed more than ever for the protection of change of so many learning improvement individuals so they can safely adjust and make themselves comfortable in the volunteer community.
For all those who had viewed it and did not sign it, I urge you intently to reconsider and sign. You may not have children or adult relatives with autism, downs syndrome or dyslexia to name a few, but you have friends with these conditions. Your children have friends with these conditions and will watch them suffer in their adult life with disability stigma and deteriorating treatment from so many who are ignorant to those with genuine "invisible" conditions, there are still so many who claim that it is just an excuse to get their own way and never learned from their schooling of the importance of equality and diversity.
People involved in my treatment have been in the SCC for 20+ years and despite evidence I presented of my Asperger's Syndrome, especially my psychiatric assessment (costing me £2,000) they claim was not enough evidence and alienated me from the community. This in turn affected me trusting so many other people from other districts of London area making me unstable.
Please look at the bigger picture and support to help make a positive difference so this will not happen again.... ever! This is not a cause for closing the gap between black and white, LGBT, male and female. This cause involves far more wider community. It is involving those with genuine disabilities who are black and white, male and female and LGBT. Because all these also have autism, downs syndrome and dyslexia, etc.... Look past the surface and you will see the true picture of the "disabled" because they have so many talents they did not even previously trained for them and accomplish like a professional.
Much love to you and think very carefully for the benefit of so many.
Take care and stay safe from Coronavirus <3
