The Bluefin Tuna, a sushis lover’s favorite, is on the brink of devastation in the Mediterranean Sea. With the population down ninety seven per cent from overfishing, it is impossible for the the Bluefin to recover. Without these tuna, the whole marine ecosystem would be disrupted and the food chain would be mangled. All the fishers and chefs are aware of this devastation, yet they continue to overfish and sell the Bluefin tuna to make a profit.
