The level of crime in the Kensington & Factreton communitues has been a concern for a few years now.

Just recently, from 31 May 2018 - 08 June 2018 there were 2 x murders plus 3 x attempted murders in this community.

Crime Prevention initiatives including patrols appear to be non-existent. When community members summon the Police, even in an emergency by calling 10111, the Police either never arrive, or their are no members or vehicles available.

We the community of Kensington and Factreton hereby appeal to the Minister of Police to please investigate the poor service delivery at KENSINGTON SAPS and to increase the number of members and resources as a matter if urgency.
