We are making progress!! The Alberta government is working on protocols to handle orphaned animals. They are hoping to have this in place prior to the spring bear hunt that will begin April 2018, leaving orphaned bear cubs behind. Our work is not done. **We still need to deliver the petition to the Legislature in March.** ***Alberta residents who are collecting signatures - please make sure the signatures get to me by February 25.
