Just a reminder that the Public Forum takes place this Friday! The event will be facilitated by Danielle Smith of NewsTalk770 in Calgary. MLA, Dr. David Swann will be addressing the political aspects of changing policy within the AEP. Guest speaker, Lisa Dahlseide, B.Sc., - Conservation Biology who has over 22 years of experience rehabbing Alberta Wildlife will be providing some very interesting information. Travis Ripley - Executive Director of Fish & Wildlife, Alberta Environment & Parks will be speaking as well, so the more people there to voice their concerns with current AEP policies that prevent many species of Alberta wildlife from being rehabilitated the better. These species include: fox kit, pronghorn young, elk calves, lynx, bobcat, wolf, grizzly bear, cougar, moose calves, and of course black bear. This is NOT a complete list. There are many animals that need us to advocate for them! We want to prevent future suffering of wildlife like our "Russell". He has not been spotted since December 23. We have no way of knowing at this time if he survived the cold spell. I have attached the facebook link if any of you want more information. There will be copies of the official petition at the Forum. If any Albertans have still not contacted me for a copy of the petition - please do! If all Albertans who signed this e-petition could fill one page (12 signatures) - it would make an immense difference! Contact me at gannob3@hotmail.com or 403-608-0615. I hope to see some of you this Friday! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CARING AND SUPPORT! Lisa https://www.facebook.com/events/398951970518763/
