Canadians Concerned About Lyme Disease
1 Mei 2018
There are only a few more days to encourage your federal MP to attend an upcoming Round Table on Lyme Disease on Monday May 7th. So far there are 20 MPs who have RSVPd to attend and we would love to have even more. The final agenda is at the bottom of this update. Since our last update, we are pleased to announce that Conservative MP Mr. Randy Hoback, (Prince Albert, SK) has agreed to co-host the event along with Ms. Tracey Ramsey, M.P. (NDP, Essex, ON). As well, we are thrilled to announce that Dr. Ralph Hawkins, MD will now be joining Dr. Adrian Baranchuk, MD and Dr. Melanie Wills, PhD as the medical /scientific presenters. Finally, we have two amazing young Canadians who will also be sharing their experience with Lyme disease and their own advocacy efforts: Daniel Stimers and Emma Smashnuk.
