Thankfully, Register Offices are opening again, and we are delighted to hear about new civil partnerships being formed every day, especially by those who need the protections it offers now.

Please remember, we are here for you, to support and celebrate with you, and to help make civil partnerships part of the fabric of life in the UK - an equally valid and more modern alternative to marriage. So let the Equal Civil Partnerships campaign know if you encounter any difficulties in booking your registration – feeling pressured into booking a larger ceremony or communications that still refer to weddings and husband/wife. The campaign is also facilitating a witness registration scheme, which we know is highly valued and building bonds between the community. Good news: Mixed-sex civil partnerships to be available across the UK
Following a consultation process, Scottish Ministers unanimously decided to open civil partnerships to all couples. The new legislation means that equal civil partnerships are now a reality across the UK. Finally. WOOHOO!!!!

Whichever way and however much you contribute, we are eternally grateful that you have helped to make all this happen.
