Dear civil partnerships community,
 
We have nearly reached our goal.

Tomorrow morning (Friday 15th March), the Civil Partnerships Bill will have its final reading in the House of Commons. We expect it to pass with both Government and cross-party support, becoming law shortly afterwards. Although there will be a short consultation stage to finalise the details, the Bill will make civil partnerships available to all by the end of 2019.
 
Please join us in person or online to celebrate this milestone together. It’s been a team effort over many years so we all deserve this moment to celebrate. If you can come down to Westminster, please meet us at 10.45am outside the Supreme Court. There, you will hear from Tim Loughton MP, who has steered the Bill through Parliament, and from Martin Loat, Chair of the Campaign for Equal Civil Partnerships. We will also make brief statements.
