This update is to clarify media confusion that the proposal to rename the airport comes with a change of airport code from SIN to LKY. This is not the case. It is known that the code LKY is already is use by another airport. Besides, there is also precedence that changes in airport names need not be accompanied by a change in code. A case in point is the airport in Manila. Thought it is important to clarify.
