Dear all, Last Wednesday I visited Calais again. Khushal was still living in the jungle and, despite amassing over 100,000 signatures and trying to get in touch with James Brokenshire, I had received absolutely no response. At that stage Khushal had only a few minor lacerations to his hand. Last night he was pepper sprayed by the police in his mouth, knocked from a lorry and has had to have five stitches to his leg. He was released from hospital this evening, but due to the injury will not be able to move freely for at least a week. Unfortunately, that means his chances of making it to the UK - the country which he has served and where he has friends - are slim, unless some kind of response is forced from the government. Clearly 100,000 signatures is not enough to merit them responding or looking again at Khushal's case, so I urge you, out of the kindess of your hearts to please share this petition once more - until we do get a response.
