After six years of campaigning the new law on mandatory inquests for ALL Maternal deaths is now in place, therefore a celebration is in order.
A Celebrity event will take place on Friday 15th November, at 6pm in the Copper house Gallery, St Kevin's Cottages, Synge Street, Dublin 8, with a final opportunity to see the exhibition. Held by The Elephant Collective to honour women, families, all individuals, groups and communities who worked together to achieve this change.
It started with midwives who brought small knitted squares into lectures until they piled up........And now a new law, and, a small piece in the larger matter of Social Justice that women in our maternity services need.
