Lowering of London City arrivals flightpaths and / or the increasing size of aircraft proposed

Bridget BellLondon, ENG, United Kingdom
11 Mar 2026

From City airport .....  for those who are affected by the lowering of London City arrivals flightpaths and /or the increasing size of aircraft proposed by them:

"We previously wrote to you regarding London City Airport’s Airspace Change proposals which are out for public consultation.

The consultation is open from the 2nd of March until the 17th of May 2026 and is being conducted in accordance with CAP1616 and overseen by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Our previous email gave you advanced notice of the consultation and promised to be back in touch with further details about how you can engage in the process.

We would therefore like to invite you to a dedicated webinar for General Public Stakeholders on Thursday 19 March, 10:00–11:00 to provide an overview of the proposed changes, explain the supporting technical assessments, and answer questions.

Should you be unable to attend the webinar, we are able to consider ad-hoc or alternative 121 arrangements, this could include a pre-booked face-to-face meeting at the airport with our project team in a dedicated consultation space.

We are committed to ensuring all voices and opinions are considered and heard.

You can also access all the consultation documents at any time online here.

To accept the webinar invite, please RVSP to this email. A meeting invite and dial in details will then follow: lcy-acp@londoncityairport.com

We look forward to hearing from you and hope to see you soon.

Kind regards,

London City Airport

Airspace Team
