Response to Minister Naughton's email

Dear Minister Naughton Thank you very much for your response. I just have two queries in relation to it; Repak charges it's members the same price for recyclable packaging as non-recyclable packaging. If we want the rate of recycling to increase why is this the case? I appreciate that Repak does not pay subsidies for biodegradable or compostable packaging, therefore what mechanism do you intend to introduce to encourage producers and retailers to move towards this type of packaging?
