On my 4th Valentine’s Day without Cheng Yuan, My sister-in-law visited Cheng Yuan the first time. 

Time:        Last night, morning of Feb. 14, 2023 China Time. 
Location: China Hunan Chishan prison
Event:       My sister-in-law finally was allowed to visit my husband Cheng Yuan, it’s the second visit of our family members. The first visit was on Jan 13, 2023, after he was arbitrarily detained for 1271 days, secretly sentenced and put in jail.
Memo:     My sister-in-law cried a lot when she told me about Cheng Yuan’s well-beings last night. 

Here are Cheng Yuan’s living conditions in Hunan Chishan Prison, China
1. Cheng Yuan is still forced to work 11-13 hrs everyday. From 6:30 am to 6:30pm. No rest. 

2. Limited and lack of nutrition food and over-time forced labor, lead to serious lose weight. My husband used to keep around 144 Pound, now he only has 112 Pound. 

3. His hair all turned white. 

4. Restriction of using his own money deposited by us, make him lack of basic supplies. 

5. Torture: He was put into solitary confinement for 3 month. Along with the physical abuse, he protested a lot against the humanity insult. All the prisoners are forced to kneel one knee if they want make a call, write letter and meet their family which are their legal rights as written in the Chinese law. 

6. Illness and access to healthcare forbidden: Cheng Yuan need work on the sewing machine for 11-13 hrs everyday. Due to long time forced labor, Cheng Yuan got hemorrhoid, my sister-in-law tried to send medicines to him but medicines are refused, but the prison never provide him any access to healthcare. 

We will fight against the illegal behaviors of Hunan Chishan Prison, and the inhumane conditions and torture of CCP.
