Blakelands 24/7 Appeal - We need your help!

The appeal process against 24/7 operations has been restarted and we are trying to encourage as many members of the public as possible to submit comments. You do not need to live next to or close to the warehouse to submit a comment.

How do I submit a comment? You can do so electronically!

1. Go to the Planning Inspectorate's website with this direct link for the appeal - https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?CaseID=3252373
2. Click on "Make representation" at the top of the page. There is no need to register.
3. You need to select that you are "Interested Party / Person".
4. Fill in your details address and contact details.
5. Submit your comments by typing them in the box or upload a Word document/PDF.

There are some important points to make everyone aware of:

• The appeal is primarily focused on the impact of nighttime HGV operations at the warehouse on the residents of Blakelands. Our position is that the noise and lighting will have a significantly adverse impact on the enjoyment of neighbouring occupiers. This is the question all comments in the appeal should be addressing: What would it be like to live with HGVs operating only metres from the bungalows and houses in Blakelands every minute of the night and 365 days a year?
• The warehouse has been built and it has planning permission. Unfortunately, the warehouse has planning permission and cannot change this. The visual impact of the warehouse and the harm that it has done to Blakelands and Tongwell Lake are not matters to be considered in this appeal.
