The experience of going on a tour at Coors for Mines students is a quintessential part of the Mines experience. Now that Miller Coors has decided to start charging for tours, this tradition will begin to fade away. Coors has been offering tours since 1873 and their main reasoning for charging is to remain competitive with the Miller side of the company. This petition is to keep short tours free of charge for students at the Colorado School of Mines. This will allow the students to keep a positive relationship with the brewery and allow us to hold on to the time honored tradition of Coors visits after a long day of classes.
