Say no to BC Hydro logging trucks on the Old Hope Road, Charlie Lake

The residents of the Old Hope Road in Charlie Lake BC are concerned about the increased activity of empty and loaded logging trucks on our residential road.  There are many families on this road that will be effected by the 1-2 trucks per hour/ 20 plus trucks per day.  We have a school bus that travels this road 4 times a day and busy families that travel back and forth for work and kids activities multiple times per day.  There are two alternate routes that BC Hydro can use.  One route would bypass all residents on the Old Hope road and would allow them to use a road on Hydro land which comes out at Bear Flats.  The second Alternate route would bypass 50 plus residents and would come out on the 277 road at Tea Creek.  These two alternate routes would bypass a large part of the bus route and many residents.  We would like BC Hydro to consider the safety of the families that live on this road and in the area over the convenience of just getting the job done.
