In light of the tragic events at Comet Ping Pong Pizza and the ongoing fake news epidemic, we call on current Chevy Chase resident VP-Elect Mike Pence to patronize Comet and denounce the #pizzagate conspiracy and the fake news movement.

As we have seen, this epidemic is moving beyond disgusting rhetoric to dangerous calls to action as we saw this past Sunday. It's time to put a stop to fake news and to have this incoming administration admonish the fake news movement.

VP-Elect Pence would show the American people that this incoming administration is ready to get serious about denouncing the fake news movement by stopping by Chevy Chase's Comet and the other adjacent small businesses impacted by the fake #pizzagate conspiracy.
