Special Election to vote in change!!! Can you help?

There is a special election this June in CD12 and Jay Beeber needs your support to help win this seat. Jay is the person who stopped the red light cameras and is against SB 50, SB 827, Road Diets, and all the other asinine failing theories on how to build a better city. If Jay can raise $20K he will receive 6 to 1 matching funds from the city which will allow him to mount a viable campaign. Jay’s opponents for this seat are backed by public service unions and political parties and are far out spending him right now. We don’t need another political hack on our city council; we need someone whose allegiance is to the people who live in this city and not special interests.
If we want change, we need to start electing rational people throughout the city to start advocating for road repairs, not road diets. As we all know from fighting the coalitions who support Seleta, Garcetti, Bonin et al-these groups are well funded and pushing back hard against us. Jay isn’t a professional politician, he’s not running because he wants to hop scotch to Mayor or Governor, he’s running because he wants to fix the city of LA. While Jay may not be running in your district he can still help all of us. Having “one of us” on the city council, rather than a professional politician, is really the first step in taking this city back.
It sounds cliché but every dollar counts so please consider donating to Jay’s campaign. The only way we will effect change is if we start electing sensible people. Jay is viable, and needs our support. We can complain, or we can endeavor to do our best to help allies to our cause.
