Petition updateStop the Unsafe Streets Project on Venice Blvd.
Wednesday, Councilman Mike Bonin reversed himself and decided to restore the lanes on Vista Del Mar.

It was only a few weeks ago that he was railing about safety and refusing to consider alternatives. But now, because Supervisor Janice Hahn decided to open up off-street parking at Dockweiler State Beach, the lanes are to be returned.
But the fight goes on for Venice Blvd. in Mar Vista and the many other neighborhoods that will be impacted by future Great Streets "road diets."
The restoration of the lanes on Vista Del Mar proves that we can successfully push back on this misguided plan.
